The Lock 3 to Old Port Dalhousie Eco-Tour is an offroad cycling route that takes you along some of the region's most amazing natural and built environmental heritage features. This interpretive tour is an excellent method for combining physical activity and recreational education.

The tour starts of the St. Catharines Lock 3 Museum which is located beside the present day Welland Canal. The trail connects cyclists with nature as it leads you into Malcolmson Eco-Park. The Eco-Park is the last remaining parcel of undeveloped parkland in North St. Catharines. The Lake Ontario Waterfront Trail runs through Malcolmson Eco-Park, offering cyclists a link to another recreational trail. Travel alongside Lake Ontario, passing through parks and wooded areas and enjoy the scenic serenity. Follow the trail into Old Port Dalhousie and indulge in local goods and services. Old Port Dalhousie is a link to further cycle routes or the trail can be followed back to the starting point.

This route takes cyclists past some of the region's most celebrated environmental heritage sites. Lock 3 to Old Port Dalhousie Eco-Tour is a versatile cycle route that connects to other cycling routes and also allows you access to many other enjoyable interest points and beautiful views. Exit QEW exit 44 toward South Service Road

Merge onto Dunkirk Road

Continue onto Service Road
