Louth Conservation Area

The Louth Conservatio Area is located along the 16 mile creek in Lincoln County. This 62 hectare parcel of land was purchased in 1973 and preserves a portion of the Niagara Escarpment and provides access to the Bruce Trail. Visually appeasing scenery can be seen from this trail including two magnificent waterfalls. The upper falls plunges 3.66 metres while the lower falls plummets from a height 7.92 metres. This area is basically u sed for passive-recreational day use only.

  1. Merge onto Gardiner Expy W
  2. Continue onto Queen Elizabeth Way
  3. Merge onto ON-403 W
  4. Slight left at Queen Elizabeth Way (signs for Niagara/East Hamilton/Fort Erie)
  5. Take exit 55 toward Regional Road 26/Jordan Road
  6. Turn left at Bayview Blvd
  7. Take the 1st right onto Jordan Rd/Regional Road 26
  8. Turn left at King St/Regional Road 81
  9. Take the 1st right onto 17 St
  10. Turn left at Staff Ave

From Buffalo:

  1. Take Queenston-Lewiston Bridge (Partial toll road)
  2. Entering Canada (Ontario)
  3. Continue onto ON-405 W
  4. Merge onto Queen Elizabeth Way
  5. Take exit 55 toward Jordan Road/Regional Road 26/Jordan station
  6. Turn left at N Service Rd (signs for Regional Road 26)
  7. Take the 1st left onto Jordan Rd/Regional Road 26 (signs for Queen Elizabeth Way/Niagara)
  8. Turn left at King St/Regional Road 81
  9. Take the 1st right onto 17 St
  10. Turn left at Staff Ave
