The Mystery on the Lake theatrical format is appropriately dubbed, “Theatre that ‘moves’ you!”… since the performance takes place throughout a variety of related venues that are linked through an engaging plot, rather than the traditional theatre performance that takes place in just one location. Audience members walk between the venues and are integrated into the show through the comedy and drama of live improvisational theatre and the fun of teamwork in collecting clues and solving puzzles. Part live theatre, part scavenger hunt, part mystical adventure, and part walking tour, MOTL performances are all presented in an environment of mystery and intrigue as audience members work together in groups of 12 on their pursuit, searching for clues and interacting with unusual characters played by actors.

Audience members walk about 3 km (1.9 miles) during the show with frequent stops. The Last Illusionist: Discover the Queen Street Arts and Entertainment District of Niagara Falls as you become involved in a mysterious plot of magic, illusion, danger and entertaining twists and turns. You will have an exclusive look behind the scenes exploring the dark corners of the entertainment district as you unravel the mysterious circumstances surrounding the legend of The Last Illusionist.
