Kids, Candy, Pumpkins

What's not to love about the Halloween season?
Kids in costumes dressed up like goblins and ghosts or their favorite superhero and coming home to have warm cocoa after an excited run, knocking on every door to be found while the chilled breeze of autumn air fills the senses with smells of harvest time. Pumpkins lighting the way as families meet in the streets for photo ops and tales of past years' festivities and the fun isn't just reserved for nighttime.
On October 24th, from 10 a.m. through 1 p.m. St. Catharines is the scene for PumpkinFest! Children can enjoy pumpkin carving, costume contests, games, entertainment and the always popular PumpkinFest Parade! Admission is FREE and it conveniently takes place in Market Square, downtown, with lots of parking.
It's a magical time to spend with the family, and there is nowhere better to spend it than here with our families in the Niagara Region.
